- This product contains Ceftriaxone sodium which belongs to Cephalosporin class of antibiotics.
- Its 1 vial contains 1gm ceftriaxone which is in the injectable form.

- Indicated for wide variety of bacterial infections like pneumonia, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), & in relieving respiratory symptoms of shortness of breath & coughing

How To Use For Oxidil 1gm
- For intravenous administration only.
- Its recommended dose is 1 to 2grams.
- Commonly it is used for a period of 10 days in Streptococcus bacterial infection, 7 to 14 days in meningitis, 10 to 14 days in syphilis, and for 3 days in middle ear infection.
- If you are using it at home, then follow all instructions of administration given in leaflet or by the doctor. For the best effect of medication, use it at the same time every day.
- Also, complete full prescribed course of therapy of this medication, even if you see symptoms subsiding.
- It should be stored at room temperature at 25 degree C & away from the reach of light.

Pregnancy
In pregnancy its use is only indicated when needed.
Lactation
Caution is advised while taking in breastfeeding mothers.
Precautions
Its single day dose should not exceed more than 4 gm. As its overdose symptoms have been associated with diarrhea, vomiting & nausea. Its dose shouldn’t be increased by more than 2 gram in case of kidney failure.
