Description

Nobu 5 mg tablet, containing Nebivolol, is used in the treatment of hypertension (increased blood pressure) and cardiovascular (heart and blood vessels) related events in patients with established arterial or other vascular diseases (atherosclerosis). Directions For Use

Dosage

Please take Nobu 5 mg tablet as directed by your physician as the dosage depends on the patient’s severity of condition, age, and response to treatment. In most cases, 1 – 2 tablets are taken every day
with a glass of water.

Safety Information/Precautions

Following are the precautions for using Nobu 5 mg tablet:
 Nobu 5 mg tablet should be used with extreme caution in patients with impaired hepatic (liver) function, and bilateral renal artery stenosis (narrowing of arteries supplying the kidneys).
 Patients with mild to moderate renal (kidney) impairment should use Nobu 5 mg tablet cautiously.
 Patients with impaired blood glucose levels should use Nobu 5 mg tablet cautiously.
 Patients with renovascular (blood vessels of the kidney) hypertension (high blood pressure) should use Nobu 5 mg tablet cautiously.
 Elderly patients should be cautioned against the use of Nobu 5 mg tablet.

When not to use

Nobu 5 mg tablet is not recommended for patients with the following:
 Severe liver disease
 Gall bladder disorders
 Low potassium levels
 Hypercalcemia (high calcium in blood)

Side Effects

Nobu 5 mg tablet may cause the following:
 Upper respiratory tract infections
 Back pain
 Sinusitis

Pregnancy

Nobu 5 mg tablet is contraindicated in pregnant females.

Lactation

Nobu 5 mg tablet is contraindicated in nursing females.
