Indications
Carbimazole is used in the treatment of thyrotoxicosis (excessive thyroid hormone in the body).
Side Effects
Its side effects are rashes, nausea, headache, GI upset, liver disorders, skin reactions, arthralgia (joint pain), and decreased bone marrow activity.

Precautions

Those with mild to moderate liver impairment, intrathoracic goiter (changing of thyroid gland position), and elderly patients are advised to observe caution.
Contraindications
