Mofest tablet is an antibiotic medicine used to treat bacterial infections. It is useful for treating the following infections:
- Respiratory tract (airway) infections: bronchitis (inflammation of bronchi), pneumonia (inflammation and fluid in alveoli), emphysema (rupture of alveoli), and lung abscess (Pus filled cavity in lungs).
- Ear nose and throat infections: tonsillitis (inflammation of tonsils), sinusitis (inflammation of mucous membrane of sinus), pharyngitis (sore throat), and otitis media (ear infection).
- Pelvic infections like septic abortion and salpingitis (inflammation of fallopian tubes).
- Urinary tract infections.
- Skin and soft tissue infections.
