Stomach ulcers
Indications
This drug is used for the treatment of duodenal, benign gastric and post-operative ulceration, including that due to NSAIDs. It can also be used for the prevention of NSAID induced ulcers, and duodenal ulcers associated with H.pylori. Other indications can include oesophageal reflux, reduction of gastric acid, chronic episodic dyspepsia (indigestion), moderate to severe oesophagitis, and long-term treatment of healed GERD.
Side Effects
This drug can cause headaches, dizziness, and changes in liver function. Rare side effects can include hepatitis, decreased platelet count, decreased WBC count, decreased granulocyte count, decrease in all kinds of blood cells, hypersensitivity, confusion, breast symptoms in men, reversible impotence, rash, decreased heart rate, and inflammation of pancreas.
Warnings
Pregnancy
There is no evidence of risk in humans. However, consult your physician for better advice.
Lactation
Caution is advised with this drug in lactation women. Consult your physican for better advice.
Driving
Please avoid driving when taking this medicine as it may affect your ability to drive.
Alcohol
Please avoid consuming alcohol when taking this medicine.
Precautions
Exclude malignant disease before treatment. This drug should also be used with caution in patients with impaired kidney function, and acute porphyria.

Indications:
This medicine is used to treat gastrointestinal disorders such as duodenal, post-operative, and benign gastric ulcers (stomach ulcers), duodenal ulcers associated with Helicobacter Pylori (bacteria), esophageal reflux, reduction of gastric acid, chronic episode of dyspepsia (discomfort and pain in upper abdomen due to indigestion), moderate to severe esophagitis (esophagus infection) and gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) (digestive disorder), and treat and prevent NSAID (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) associated duodenal and gastric ulcers.
Administration:
This medicine is used orally or intravenously. The intravenous form in injected into a vein by a medical professional. However, if you are self-injecting or using it at home, ensure you follow the correct procedure and take all necessary precautions. The dosage is dependent on the age, condition and its severity. Side Effects:

Precautions:
The patients with patients with kidney problems and porphyria (liver disorders causing increased sun-sensitivity) should be cautious. Please treat any malignant disease, if present, before starting therapy.
