Gixer tablet contains cetirizine in it which is an antihistamine/antiallergic. Antihistamines works by inhibiting histamine (natural body substance) which is involved in allergic reaction. It is also used in allergic skin conditions like in chronic nettle rash/chronic idiopathic urticaria, hay fever (allergic rhinitis), and perennial allergic rhinitis (due to dust or pets).

How To Use For Gixer 10mg

• For oral administration i.e. via the mouth only
• Max dose in adults & children above 12 years is 10mg tablet once in a day.
• In children between 6 to 12 years, cetirizine is used 5mg taken twice daily.
• Swallow the whole tablet with full glass of water
• In case a dose is missed, then take it as soon as you remember on the same day. However, if next day has arrived, then take only that day’s dose and don’t double it.
• If self-treating and using it as over-the-counter medication, then read the product information leaflet before using cetirizine
