Indications
This medicine is used in lower lung infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, septicaemia (blood poisoning caused by bacteria), gonorrhoea (sexually transmitted disease) and infections in immunocompromised (weak immunity) patients.
Side Effects
This medicine may cause pain at injection site, allergy, stomach upset, disorders which decrease white blood cell types (neutropenia, leucopenia, thrombocytopenia), increased liver enzymes and blood urea, positive coomb’s test (test which detect antibodies against red blood cells). Please consult your doctor if you experience any of these symptoms.
