- Inform doctor before taking cebosh if you have past medical history of phenylketonuria (increase in level of phenylalanine in blood), colitis, liver, or kidney disease.
- A prior use of cebosh or unwanted use of it may lead to increased risks of anemia (less red blood cells in body).
- Patients with abnormal liver function & poor nutritional states have increased risk of fall in prothrombin time (PTT, means blood clots faster than normal) while using cefixime
- Risks of cefixime increases in patients with kidney related issues where prothrombin activity falls.
- Severe side effects reported while its use in pseudomembranous colitis (inflammation of colon)
