Description
Atcomid is used to control partial-onset seizures. Lacosamide is also used in combination with other medicines to control primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in adults and children 4 years of age and older. Atcomid is in a class of medicines called anticonvulsants. It works by decreasing abnormal electrical activity in the brain.

- Atcomid comes as a tablet and as a solution (liquid) to take by mouth.
- Atcomid is usually taken twice a day with or without food.
