Primary Uses
Indications
This product is used as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of stable angina (chest pain or discomfort that most often occurs with activity or emotional stress) in patients inadequately controlled on 1st line antianginal therapy.
Side Effects
Dizziness, headache, GI upset and asthenia (abnormal physical weakness or lack of energy) are the commonly reported side effects.
Warnings
Pregnancy
This medicine is contraindicated to use in pregnancy.
Lactation
Do not use this product while lactating as it’s contraindicated.
Precautions
Be cautious while using this medicine in patients with moderate to severe congestive heart failure, QT interval prolongation, mild to moderate kidney and liver impairment, and in elderly.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in people with severe kidney impairment and moderate to severe liver impairment.
