Lung and blood cancer
Indications
This medicine is used in the management of small cell carcinoma of the lung (cancer of lungs), and Hodgkin’s disease (lymphoma; cancer of Injectionectionection fighting cells).
Side Effects
Patients using this medicine may at times experience GI (gastro-intestinal) upset,allergic reactions,reversible alopecia (baldness), and anorexia (eating disorder). If you experience any of these symptoms for a long period of time, consult your doctor immediately.
Warnings
Pregnancy
This medicine can be used during pregnancy only when no safer alternative exists due to the positive evidence of risk.
Lactation
This medicine should not be used by breastfeeding mothers.
Driving
Please avoid driving when taking this medicine as it may affect your ability to drive.
Alcohol
Please avoid consuming alcohol when taking this medicine.
Precautions
This medicine should be used with extreme caution in debilitated (disabled or weak) patients and those undergoing prolonged chemotherapy. Blood count and hemoglobin concentration should be regularly monitored.
Contraindications
This medicine should not be used in patiens with severe hepatic (liver) dysfunction, and acute Injectionectionections.
