Indications

Precautions
Use this drug with caution in liver failure, and generalized erythroderma (intense and widespread skin reddening). Minimize exposure to UV light. Treat infections before therapy. Monitor patients with enlarged lymph nodes. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes.
Contraindications
This drug should not be given to a patient if there is a known hypersensitivity to macrolides, and genetic epidermal barrier defects. This drug should also be avoided in pregnancy and lactation.
