Expert Advice
-Take oral form 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals
-Do not crush or chew tablets, swallow whole
-Shake canister before use

This medication is used to treating severe bronchospasm (narrowing of the air passages), status asthmatic (condition characterized by one asthma attack followed by another without a break in between)
Side Effects
The patients taking this medication may experience fine tremors, headache, increased heart rate, sleep disturbances, decreased potassium levels, allergic reactions, narrowed air passages, muscle cramps, lactic acidosis (blood pH disturbances), and irritation at the back of the mouth

The patients taking this medication must be cautious in cases of thyrotoxicosis (overactive thyroid gland), diabetes, myocardial insufficiency (heart attack), angina (chest pain), cardiac arrhythmias (abnormal heart rate), hypertension (high blood pressure). Monitor plasma potassium

This medication is contraindicated in patients with uncomplicated Premature Labor as it may lead to serious problems such as abortion especially during the first and second trimesters
