Indications
This cream is used to treat fungal and gram-positive bacterial infections accompanied inflammation.
Side Effects
This drug may cause Cushingoid changes (facial puffiness, weight gain), adrenal suppression, local skin reactions, acne, skin degeneration, striae on skin, telangiectasia (spider veins), mild pigmentation, increased hair production on the body, itching, loss of hair follicles. Hypersensitivity reactions such as contact dermatitis can also occur, in which case the use should be discontinued.

Precautions
Do not use in infants to treat diaper rashes. Avoid extensive or prolonged use (max 7 days in children). If potent steroids are to be used in children or on face, limit to 5 days and avoid closure. Avoid use on mucous membranes and eye area. This cream should also be used with caution on broken, inflamed, or occluded skin, psoriasis, skin inflammation around chronic ulcers, and elderly. There is also a risk of visual disturbances.
Contraindications
This cream should not be used for untreated bacterial, fungal, or viral infections or parasitic infestations. This cream should also be avoided on burns, acne, rosacea (flushed cheeks and nose), skin inflammation around the mouth, widespread plaque psoriasis, pruritus (itching) around anus or genitals, and pruritus without inflammation.
